Australian lab buildings can now be compared with their international peers using the I2SL Laboratory Benchmarking Tool. Comprised of nearly 1,000 US peer group buildings the benchmarking tool can help prioritise energy saving opportunities within a portfolio of buildings and provide context for public energy disclosure data.
The LBT tool is part of the I2SL Labs2Zero program which is designed to help building operators, owners and users decarbonise the operation of their facilities.
Keep an eye out for an energy and emissions scorecard due to launch later in 2023.
