Air Valve – Calibration

Precision Airflow For Infection Control #101

Every valve we work with is characterised on a factory airflow station to meet the project’s requirement for accuracy of ± 5% of reading. The measurement of airflow (litres/second) is based on calibrated position data rather than measuring airflow directly with thermal dispersion, pitot tubes or vortex shedding devices.

On site effort is reduced for the air balancing technician due to the factory characterisation process thus avoiding the need for running fans temporarily during the final stages of construction.

Facility service teams benefit from no specified maintenance by the manufacturer.
